Welcome, fellow gardening enthusiast! At Alpha Shop, we take immense care in selecting and packaging each plant to ensure it arrives at your doorstep in perfect condition. However, we understand that sometimes things might not go as planned. This Returns & Exchanges Policy outlines our process for ensuring your complete satisfaction.

Our Return Policy

We want you to be thrilled with your new plants. If you’re not completely satisfied, we accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your items.

Please Note: Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for plants that have been planted, damaged due to weather conditions after delivery, or improper care. All return items must be in their original condition with tags and packaging intact.

Non-Returnable Items

To ensure the health and viability of our specialty plants, certain items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Andean Tubers: These rare and delicate specimens are highly perishable once shipped.
  • Ginger: Live ginger rhizomes are sensitive to temperature changes during transit.
  • Plants that have been planted or removed from original packaging.
  • Custom or special order items.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to request a return or exchange:

  1. Contact our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order.
  2. Include your order number and reason for return/exchange.
  3. We will respond with instructions and a return authorization number.
  4. Package the item securely in its original packaging.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or damaged upon arrival). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • We will process your refund within 5 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card or PayPal account statement.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchange Process

For exchanges:

  • We will ship your replacement item once we receive the returned product.
  • If the exchange item costs more than the returned item, you will be charged the difference.
  • If the exchange item costs less, we will refund the difference.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your plants arrive damaged or if you received the wrong item:
